Are you trying to get your birthday invitation out there but struggling with the words? Creating an invitation to this special affair can be difficult. Here are some birthday invitation wording ideas to WOW your guests.

Leading with a laugh

A humorous birthday invitation can tell your guests you are ready to have fun and make the night memorable with many laughs.

You can start the invitation straight to the point with:

“Holy Sh*t! I’m Old!”

Or something a bit more subtle with:

“Aged to Perfection and ready to celebrate their big day” 

Another great lead-in line is:

Straight to the point

You can’t go wrong when you write something straight to the point. Lead in your invitation with:

“Join us as we celebrate Bob’s 40th birthday!”

• Don’t make the party information vauge.
• Don’t ask for gifts. It always leaves a bad taste in your guests’ mouths.
• Don’t make requirements. “Highly suggested” is better wording – especially if you are highly suggesting they should come in costume.
