It may be because of one of the following:

1) The invitation may have been removed/deleted by the host. If this is the case, contact the organizer/host of the event.

2) You may not be clicking on the full link so the website is not recognizing the link. Make sure you are clicking on the entire link that is provided in the email (part of the link has not 'wrapped' to the line below). If this is the case, cut and paste the entire link into your browser window. You may want to compare the link you paste into your browser with the link that is 'wrapped', or broken, to make sure you have the entire link, then click "enter" or "go" in your browser.
